From Sony ironically, we already know there have been students studying motion controls and creating some cool shit for their thesis, dissertation, whatever. I think we will see more as Kinect and Move become successful.
I believe Kinect could revolutionize UI and be a great tool for those with special needs. Games...not so much. But Microsoft has hit gold with Kinect regardless. I couldn't think of a better company to make it happen.
If you don't have HD, Wii is the top choice. The PS3 really needs an HDTV.
Plus Nintendo's first party alone is a good reason to have the Wii. I've been eyeing the red one and the black one. But I'm going to 'jump in' with Kinect.
I'm getting the 360 Kinect bundle after Christmas in time for Gears. I hope they are in stock after the holidays. Good thing I already got my Move, and haven't needed a second controller. Whew!

The EyeToy sold 10 million and that is with the lackluster support of Sony. MotionPlus is just part of the problem with the Wii.
Microsoft staying aggressive with advertising, promise of hardcore games, a price drop and a 35-40 million install base is great advantage for them. If that grows to 50 million in 2011-12, 25 million Kinects is possible. 360 owners will carry Kinect if all the other factors are hitting.
Normally I feed my DLC codes to a dude on my friend's list. I never thought anyone would go so far to pay $20 for something that could be on the disc anyway.

We celebrate soldiers. Children and adults do on Veteran's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day...every day if you are lucky to know a real American hero in your father or mother.
What's the matter with emulating our soldier. We watch their exploits in film. War isn't pretty...but I'm thankful for the American soldier, and I am glad some little boys and girls want to join their ranks because of these games.

$150 is too much to ask for the Kinect, especially after the holidays. Their estimates are based on Kinect having a price drop in 2011. It has way more of an uphill battle than initial sales show right now.
It's a peripheral, not a console. They have to drop the price in the next few months, early 2011 I hope. It shouldn't be more than $100 right the eff now!! It should sell well given their 45 million 360's out there.
I would expect it to sell almost as well as Microsoft point cards - LOL.

My great-nephew will be getting his first 360 and he wants Halo Reach. I'm getting a 360 next year to play Reach online with him. I want to play Gears with my boy too.
